Instagram gives you no way to get your own saved collections back out. InstaSave pages the REST API 50 items at a time instead of scroll-and-scrape, so a large collection is one pass rather than an hour of scrolling, and completed scans cache for 24 hours. Nothing is uploaded — the downloads go straight from Instagram's CDN to your disk.

Most downloaders pull the entire video and trim afterwards. This one fetches only the segments covering the range you picked, so time and bandwidth scale with your clip and not with the source. A 30-second clip out of a 1.8 GB file fetched about 1% of it. Everything runs locally — no account, no server.
